The ‘Nene Valley Nature Improvement Area’ is one of 12 NIAs that were selected through a national competition announced in the Natural Environment White Paper in 2011.

The Nature Improvement Area – South Northamptonshire Local Plan Background paper has now been published in the Council's Examination document library.
