From Friday, 5 January 2018 South Northamptonshire Council’s Youth Activators will be hosting sessions at Brackley Leisure Centre between 7pm and 8pm on the first and third Friday’s of each month.

This comes after a session started at Towcester Centre for Leisure in December and both are set to continue until March.

The sessions are aimed at 11 to 14-year-olds (exceptions can be made) and will feature a range of team sports.

Cllr Karen Cooper, SNC’s portfolio holder for community engagement and wellbeing, said: “After the indulgence of the Christmas holidays these sessions will be a chance to stretch their legs, fill their lungs and make a healthy start to 2018.

“And in the shelter of the leisure centre, bad whether won’t get in the way.”

Sports include: football, dodgeball, kwik cricket, basketball, capture the flag, tag rugby and other multi-skill sport games.
