Kislingbury Neighbourhood Plan designation
We previously received an application for the designation of a Neighbourhood Plan from Kislingbury Parish Council in 2013. This is required by the Neighbourhood Plan regulations as the first step of the Neighbourhood Plan process.
We confirmed the designation of Kislingbury as a Neighbourhood Plan area in January 2014.
Kislingbury Neighbourhood Plan first draft
The Parish Council led a Statutory Regulation 14 Consultation on the 'Draft Neighbourhood Plan', from 26 October 2015 to 11 December 2015. Comments were collated by the Parish Council and fed into the Submission version of the Plan.
Kislingbury Neighbourhood Plan final draft
Kislingbury Parish Council finalised their 'Submission Neighbourhood Plan' in accordance with Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, as amended.
We therefore ran a final 6 week consultation on the submission version of the document from 25 July to 02 September 2016.
Kislingbury Neighbourhood Plan examination
An Independent Examination took place on the Kislingbury Neighbourhood Plan from 08 November to 03 February 2017.
Kislingbury Neighbourhood Plan referendum
The Kislingbury Neighbourhood Plan, passed through a public Referendum on the 4th May 2017 with 87% voting Yes, and 13% voting No. There was a 56% turnout on the day.
Kislingbury Neighbourhood Plan adoption
Kislingbury Neighbourhood Plan was 'made' (adopted) by Full Council on 17 May 2017. This document now forms part of the statutory Development Plan for the district.
