Harpole Neighbourhood Plan designation
We received an application for the designation of a Neighbourhood Plan from Harpole Parish Council in 2012. This is required by the Neighbourhood Plan regulations as the first step of the Neighbourhood Plan process. Due to consultation responses received Harpole Parish then submitted a revised plan for the boundary of their neighbourhood plan.

Harpole Parish Council led a Regulation 14 public consultation on their draft Neighbourhood Plan from 27 May to 14 July 2016.
Harpole Neighbourhood Plan final draft
Harpole Parish Council have finalised their 'Submission Neighbourhood Plan'. This in accordance with Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, as amended.
We therefore ran a final 6 week consultation on the submission version of the document from 3 October to 11 November 2016.
An independent examination took place on the Harpole Neighbourhood Plan in March 2017.

The examiner's report on the Harpole Neighbourhood Plan was received in March 2017.
Harpole Neighbourhood Plan referendum
The Harpole Neighbourhood Plan passed through a formal Examination on 23 March 2017.
The Harpole Neighbourhood Plan passed through a public Referendum on 27 July 2017 with 92.8% voting Yes and 7.2% voting No. There was a 46.9% turnout on the day.
Harpole final Neighbourhood Plan
The Harpole Neighbourhood Plan has now been formally made by the Council and forms part of the Councils Development Plan.
