Women have begun playing walking netball for the fun, laughter and camaraderie the social session brings, as much as the health benefits on offer. The sport is great at providing:
- An outlet for people who are feeling isolated
- An activity for those who don’t deem themselves fit enough to run anymore
- A stepping stone for those looking for a pathway back into netball
Walking netball sessions take place in the sports hall at Sponne School in Towcester
7:30pm to 8:30pm
£3 (first session is free)
A game of walking netball is for all ages and abilities and every session contains a gentle warm-up.
