Part B activities
The Local Authority Pollution Prevention and Control, also known as Part B activities,deals with air pollution and include activities such as vehicle re-spraying, furniture manufacture and unloading of petrol.
We are responsible for permitting and inspecting all Part B activities within the district. The operator of the prescribed activity must comply with the conditions of the permit and they will be subject to inspection to ensure this is the case.
We currently regulate these Part B processes.
The Public Register includes the permits and associated documents for:
- Petrol stations
- Mobile crushers
- Dry cleaners
- Cement process
- Animal feed process (revoked)
- Waste oil burners (revoked)
- Respraying of road vehicles
- Quarry process
