Family fun

The kids will love Rookery Open Farm at Stoke Bruerne where they can see a variety of animals, including pigmy goats, calves, pigs, ponies and lambs.

Visit Catanger Llamas where you will meet some unusual animals and enjoy some lovely country walks.


Fishing is available at Boddington Reservoir and Upper Aynho Fishery

There are many miles of well marked and easily accessible walking trails. At one time, the area was covered in royal hunting forests, parts of which survive today at Hazelborough Forests and Bucknell Woods.

If you fancy a stroll that’s a bit different, take the exciting treetop walk at Salcey Forest, and enjoy a bite to eat at the excellent Forest Cafe!
