Farthinghoe Recycling and Reuse Centre

Farthinghoe Recycling and Reuse Centre will be open as normal while England is under national restrictions.

Please note the following before travelling to the centre:

  • There is strictly no queueing allowed on the road outside the centre. If it is busy when you get there please try later
  • Strict social distancing measures will be in place on site which all residents must follow. Less people will be allowed on site at once so you may have to wait longer than usual
  • Only one person per vehicle where possible and stay in your vehicle while queuing. Please do not leave your vehicle until it is necessary to get out
  • Stay safe – wear protective gloves, appropriate footwear and clothing and only bring what you can safely handle as staff will not be able to help you carry your waste as they normally would
  • Please do not visit if you have coronavirus symptoms in the last 14 days, are self-isolating or at high risk of contracting the virus
  • Remember to wash your hands when you get home

It’s open seven days a week, 9:00am to 5:00pm and you can recycle a range of materials. The site closes at mid day on Christmas Eve and is closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

You can also take along things to be reused if they are in good condition.

The recycling centre is on the A422 between Brackley and Banbury, about one mile west of Farthinghoe. It's signposted from the road, so you can't miss it.
