Textiles Recycling

We now offer a bi-monthly collection of textiles from all households in the district. This is in partnership with DB Collections who will donate £50 per tonne of textiles to the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA). Special collection bags are posted through your letterbox every two months which allow you to recycle:
- Good quality adult's and children's clothes
- including as new underwear, socks & tights - Linen & curtains
- Shoes, handbags and belts
- Soft toys
For more information about the collections please contact DB Collections direct on 01536 480007.

How many textiles have we collected through the Air Ambulance sack?
The table below shows how many tonnes of textiles we have collected through the Air Ambulance charity sack. The amount collected has been consistently high since the scheme was launched in October 2009, and we thank the residents of South Northamptonshire for their enthusiasm and support.
Keep an eye out for your next sack and help us to help a local charity while saving more waste from going to landfill.
