Schools Recycling
Schools in South Northamptonshire can recycle on-site to help manage their rubbish and recycling in a more efficient and environmentally friendly way.
Paper and Card - large (1100 litre) blue bins
Cans and Plastic Bottles - medium (360 litre) red bins
Each bin has a sticker on the front to help all staff and pupils understand what can be recycled. These services are free. Contact us if you do not have one of these bins and would like to join the scheme.

If your school would like to book a visit from the Northants waste bus or an assembly on a waste and recycling theme, please visit Slim Your Bin At School to find out more. This service for Secondary Schools, KS1 and KS2 is run by Northamptonshire Waste Education Team who provide the service free of charge.
Community group and schools visits are also available at the Waste Education Centre in Northampton. Educational landfill tours can also be arranged.
