Happy Birthday Farthinghoe!
Farthinghoe Reuse & Recycling Centre celebrated its 10th birthday in May 2012. Over 12,000 tonnes of rubbish has been recycled at Farthinghoe since 2002 - a fantastic amount diverted from landfill.
To help us celebrate the decade past, there was a birthday cake, a prize draw to win a compost bin, and BBC Radio Northampton joined us on site to report on how successful the site has been. The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (who have the proceeds from our kerbsite textile sack collection scheme) joined us to fundraise.
