Recycling Boxes
This page will tell you the new updated list of what can go in your black and green recycling boxes. If you need more information about these changes please view our FAQ's.
Unless you live in a flat or somewhere difficult to access, you will have:
- one green box for glass and paper
- one black box for cardboard, cans, plastic bottles, aerosols and foil
The boxes go out with the same colour bin (i.e. first week - green bin and box, second week - black bin and box).

Collections
The bins and boxes are collected on the same day each week and you should leave them on the kerbside by 7:00am on the day of collection.
If you have got real problems wheeling out the bin or carrying the boxes, then let us know and we can try and make special arrangements.
Remember - you can now follow the Council on Twitter to get the latest information and service updates.
