As part of South Northamptonshire Council's approach to open and transparent local government, the authority is now publishing, on a monthly basis, details of all payments made by the council.

The information is available in open format below (both a csv file and an excel file) which will allow anyone to be able to go on to the council's website and see how it is spending its money and analyse the data if they so wish.

The publication of procurement spending follows the government's instructions that all councils should publish details of expenses over £500 by 2011.

The information South Northamptonshire Council have published shows all payments but where payments have been made to individual members of the public (for example disabled facilities grants) their name has been replaced with the text “individual”.
