Funding available to sports clubs in South Northamptonshire

Funding is being made available to sports clubs in the district as part of South Northamptonshire Council’s Sport Unlimited programme. The innovative youth sports scheme will provide funding to local clubs for facility hire, equipment or coaching fees as part of the project which aims to inspire young people to get involved with sports.
Clubs are being asked to contact the Council now to find out how they can be involved in providing ten week long, high-quality taster sessions for youngsters to encourage them to sign up for long term participation in sports clubs.
The Sports Development Team is also staging the South Northamptonshire Club Road Show on Tuesday 2 March. The free event will include workshops on sports marketing, funding and safeguarding and child protection, along with updates on initiatives in the area.
