Services for children and young people

Northamptonshire County Council provide services for children and young people such as:

  • providing support for families when they need it,
  • fostering and adpotion, 
  • supporting disabled children and their families, and
  • helping young people in a variety of ways with advice, ideas and activities.

South Northamptonshire Council is also involved in a providing activities and advice for young people. We work with our partners in other organisations and in the voluntary sector to provide funding for things like the skateboard park in Towcester and the youth shelter in Brackley. The South Northamptonshire Youth Council gets young people involved in democracy.
