Grants for home adaptions

If you are disabled or infirm, there are grants available of up to £30,000 to help you adapt your home. This may be for things like installing stairlifts, level access showers or ramps for instance.

The grants are means tested and they must be for adaptions to your main home (whether you own or rent it). Before you can apply, an Occupational Therapist must come and assess your needs.
If you think you would benefit from a disabled facilities grant, please contact:
Occupational Therapist Service
Telephone: 0845 1244 500

If you just need some minor adaptions such as handrails or grabrails, or some help with maintaining your home, contact:

Care and repair service
Telephone: 01327 302322
Email: careandrepair@daventrydc.gov.uk.
