Grant aid - What is it?
Grants are available to organisations and individuals that are located in the district or associated with the district. A wide range of projects may be eligible for assistance.
Please note that under no circumstances will South Northamptonshire Council fund the whole cost of an activity. Application forms will need to demonstrate that funding has been obtained from other sources.
What cannot be funded
- Activities promoting religious or political beliefs
- Capital improvements to places of worship unless other community facilities are provided
- Capital projects within schools or hospitals
- Projects involving other authorities e.g. Highways
- Projects outside South Northamptonshire district
- Organisations which aim to distribute a profit
- Projects cannot be funded retrospectively
What to do now
If you have identified a scheme which you think may be eligible for grant aid support, please contact the Support Officer, who will talk to you about your project and schemes. The officer can assist you in completing the appropriate application form.
