What the Council wants to do
Our job is to help deliver a better quality of life for the people of South Northamptonshire.

What we want to do (our Vision)
We will preserve, improve and develop the quality of life of all residents and businesses in the district.
What will this look like in reality (our Aims)

What will we do first (our Priorities)
Our priorities change from year to year depending on what local people tell us, the important things that need to be done and the amount of money and people we have to do the work.
This year to March 2008, we will:

be an efficient and effective council delivering best-value services

support local businesses and the local economy

make sure the national growth agenda benefits the local area

work with partners to deliver good public services
How do we make sure we deliver all this?
To deliver all this, we have to:

set hard targets and put all our efforts into meeting them

work with our partners to deliver what local people need

communicate well with everyone involved with the council – from customers to our own staff
