Clinical Waste and Sharps
We can pick up infectious clinical waste from homes free of charge every week and we also provide a separate collection for needles and syringes. Residents wishing to use the clinical waste service need to register by using the links below.
Please note collection day is Tuesday only.
Other healthcare related waste such as incontinence pads, stoma bags, plasters and non infectious dressings should be double bagged in plastic bags and placed into your black wheeled bin.
Replacement boxes should be ordered through your surgery.

Please note that we do not offer a clinical waste collection service for businesses, including nursing or residential homes. Please look in the Yellow Pages for a suitably licenced waste management company.
