What about things we don't collect?
You can take these things to one of the County Council Household Waste Recycling Centres or get a private contractor to collect them (see the Yellow Pages for local companies).
For advice about making sure that you choose a reputable company properly please see the County Council Website.
All items collected apart from fridges and freezers are thrown in a landfill site. To avoid this why not:
- Give them to a friend or neighbour
- Donate them to charity
- Sell them in a local newspaper
- Take them to Farthinghoe Reuse and Recycling Centre
