  • Potential claim from the Inland Revenue for Child Tax Allowance
    This year you may be able to claim a Christmas present from the Inland Revenue. The year before Tax Credits were introduced there was a different non-means tested allowance available which was never advertised. If you have children, you could claim as much as £1,040 provided you do so by 31 January 2009.
