Independent welfare advice

The Welfare Rights Advice Service offers free, independent and confidential advice on benefits, housing issues, debt and immigration. They are an independent organisation but are working with us in partnership to offer a free advice service to people in South Northamptonshire.

  • For advice on benefits, call their Benefits Advice Line on 01604 636112
    (Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9.30am-12.30pm or Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 2pm-4pm)

  • For advice on debt call the Debt Advice Line on 01604 623700
    (Tuesday or Thursday 9.30am-12.30pm)

Or you can call the advice worker for South Northamptonshire on 01604 235709.

You can also make an appointment to see them on a Monday or Thursday at the Volunteer Centres in Towcester or Brackley.

If you have difficulty travelling, the Welfare Rights Advice Service can also make home visits.
