Council Indicators
Performance measurement within the Council and within Local Government generally is being reviewed.
The focus is on both increasing transparency and ensuring information is meaningful and not collected unnecessarily.
The Council is looking at performance measurement in terms of inputs, processes, outcomes for communities and customers views.
There is a set of indicators which are reported to Members through the Committee reports. Within the Council’s directorates there are more detailed measures.
Our focus is on securing and being able to demonstrate positive outcomes for communities and customers as cost effectively as possible.
The Council adopts an annual set of corporate priorities .
