uth Northamptonshire Council's SPLAT programme!
SPLAT will be returning for Summer 2013! We will have a range of fun activities to try this Summer taking place across South Northants including golf, mountain biking, trampolining and many more. The Play Rangers will also be touring with our Village Games Team and we will see the return of our family favourites Get Active and National Play Day/
Brochures will be available to download mid June.
Payment can be made either by card on the phone or by cheque made payable to South Northamptonshire Council.

SPLAT is our holiday activities programme incorporating Sports, Play, Leisure and ArTs events providing something for everybody. Each year brochures are distributed to all district primary schools, and to the secondary schools for year 7 and 8 pupils. You can use it to plan your Eate and remember to book early so you don't miss out on the fun.
A selection of activities from 2012 can be seen below.
The Village Games: Two hours of fun and games delivered throughout the villages by qualified Sports Leaders. Activities will focus on Olympic track and field games, ball games, play activities and much much more. For ages 5 to 13 years.
Sports Courses: Expert tips and guidance in a variety of sports coaching courses, focusing on skills, drills and games. For ages 8 to 16 years. This years course include:
- 3 days badminton coaching with Towcester Titans
- 5 days cricket coaching with Northants Cricket
- Mountain Biking and Cyclo-Cross Racing
Trips: A chance to try new sports and activities in a day excursion to a variety of locations - including our new trip to Grendon Hall, where you'll have the opportunity to try quad biking and zip wires before tackling the swap ropes course.
Arts: A variety of workshops delivered around the district by professional arts workshop leaders, offering Performing Arts and Creative Art and Craft activities. From animation to music jammin, there are plenty of opportunities to express yourself throughout the summer. For ages 8 to 16 years.
Play: National Play Day is taking place on Wednesday 1 August at Towcester Recreation Ground where there will be lots of activities to get involved with including bouncy castles, arts and sports. Also supported by local community groups and organisations - best of all its completely FREE!
