Developments being built

Chaplins Yard, Roade This development started on site in January 2015 and will provide 42 affordable homes. They are being built in partnership with Orbit Housing Association and include a mix of properties for rent and shared ownership. All rental properties will be offered to those on tour housing waiting list who have a strong local connection to Roade. Anyone interested in the shared ownership properties should register with Help to Buy Midlands. The first homes were completed in September 2015, with further phases due in 2016 and 2017.
Bronnley Gate, Brackley This development on the former Bronnley Soap Works site will provide a total of 44 new homes, nine of which will be affordable housing comprising a mix of rented and shared ownership. They are being built in partnership with Bedfordshire Pilgrims Housing Association. All the rental properties will be offered to those on our housing waiting list in order of priority housing need. There is no requirement to a meet a local connection to Brackley to qualify for these properties. Anyone interested in the shared ownership properties should register with Help to Buy Midlands. The affordable housing will completed during summer and autumn 2016.
Radstone Fields, Brackley

This site will eventually deliver 1000 new homes over a seven year period. The first phase is currently underway and aims to deliver a mixture of 74 affordable homes by December 2016. They are being built in partnership with Grand Union Housing Group. All the rental properties will be offered to those on our housing waiting list in order of priority housing need. There is no requirement to a meet a local connection to Brackley to qualify for these properties. Anyone interested in the shared ownership properties should register with Help to Buy Midlands. The affordable homes are being released at regular intervals until December 2016. A second phase also now has planning permission, with a third phase to follow. Once these homes are completed it is expected that this scheme will deliver a minimum of 220 new affordable homes by 2020.

Hampton Drive, Kings Sutton This development has started on site and will provide a total of 36 new  homes. Fourteen of these homes will be affordable housing and are being built in partnership with Grand Union Housing Group. They include a mix of properties for rent and shared ownership. All rental properties are being offered to those on our housing waiting list who have a strong local connection to Kings Sutton. Anyone interested in the shared ownership properties should register with Help to Buy Midlands. The affordable housing is due for completion in early 2017.
Astrop Grange, Kings Sutton This former sheltered accommodation is being re-developed by Grand Union Housing Group to provide ten shared ownership flats for those aged 55 or over. This is considered an ideal opportunity for anyone wishing to downsize and remain within their community. Anyone interested in these properties should register with Help to Buy Midlands. and also contact Grand Union Housing Group directly. The accommodation is due for completion in early 2017.
Green Lane/Springfields, Towcester   This development started on site in 2015 and will provide a total of 87 new  homes. Nine of these homes will be affordable housing for rent and are being built in partnership with Grand Union Housing Group. All the rental properties are being offered to those on the our housing waiting list who have a priority housing need. There is no requirement to have a local connection to Towcester to be considered for these properties.  The affordable housing is due for completion in early 2017.
Wootton Fields, Northampton (Phases 2 & 3) Phase one of this development has recently been completed. Phases two and three will provide more opportunities to be considered for both affordable rented and shared ownership housing. The homes are being built in partnership with Grand Union Housing Group. All the rental properties are being offered to those on our housing waiting list who have a priority housing need. There is no requirement to have a local connection to the Wootton area to be considered for these properties. Anyone interested in the shared ownership properties should register with Help to Buy Midlands. The affordable housing on phases 2 and 3 will be completed over the next couple of years with further new phases expected to follow.
Arbury Banks, Chipping Warden This development has started on site and will provide four new affordable homes on this former garage site owned by South Northants Homes. Three of these homes will be for affordable rent and one is for shared ownership. They are being built in partnership with Grand Union Housing Group. All rental properties are being offered to those on our housing waiting list who have a strong local connection to Chipping Warden. Anyone interested in the shared ownership property should register with Help to Buy Midlands. The housing is due for completion in November 2016.
Bowman Close, Middleton Cheney This development has started on site and will provide seven new affordable homes on this former garage site owned by South Northants Homes. Four of these homes will be for affordable rent and three are for shared ownership. They are being built in partnership with Grand Union Housing Group. All rental properties are being offered to those on our housing waiting list who have a strong local connection to Middleton Cheney. Anyone interested in the shared ownership properties should register with Help to Buy Midlands. The housing is due for completion in early 2017.
Dands Drive, Middleton Cheney This development has started on site and will provide three new affordable homes for affordable rent on this former garage site owned by South Northants Homes. Westhorp, Greatworth This development has started on site and will provide ten new affordable homes; some for rent and some for shared ownership. Pianoforte, Roade This development has started on site and will provide a total of 280 new homes, 28 of which will be affordable housing. They are being built in partnership with Bromford Housing Group. All rental properties are being offered to those on our housing waiting list who have a strong local connection to Roade. Anyone interested in the shared ownership properties should register with Help to Buy Midlands. The exact delivery timescale for the affordable homes is yet to be confirmed.
Catch Yard Farm, Silverstone This development started on site in early 2016 and will provide a total of 220 new homes. 55 of the properties will be available as affordable homes. They are being built in partnership with Grand Union Housing Group and include a mix of properties for rent and shared ownership. All rental properties will be offered to those on our housing waiting who have a strong local connection to Silverstone. Anyone interested in the shared ownership properties should register with Help to Buy Midlands. The exact delivery timescale for the affordable homes is yet to be confirmed but they will be completed in phases during the next three years.
