Business support and advice

South Northamptonshire business support, advice including funding, grants and loans information can be located on the South Northamptonshire open4business website.

Most of the industry and commerce in the District is concentrated in the towns of Brackley and Towcester.

Established firms in Brackley are located on the town's employment areas at Buckingham Road and Top Station; and at Towcester at Old Tiffield Road and Burcote Road.

Planning policies have directed industrial and commercial development towards the towns, but small industrial areas can be found in the villages of Roade, Deanshanger, Litchborough and Croughton. Large established industrial developments are located at Greatworth Park near Greatworth and Chipping Warden airfield.

The largest employers in the District are Radstone Technology and the District Council in Towcester; Faccenda Chicken and Bronnley Soapworks in Brackley and Pianoforte Supplies at Roade. The environmental quality of South Northamptonshire makes it an attractive place in which to live and work.

With its central location, and good trunk road network, the District of South Northamptonshire is an attractive proposition for business investment. The Council recognises this and is making provision for further industrial development in Brackley and Towcester to accommodate this demand.
