Places still available to get creative this summer

Children aged five to 15 still have the chance to get creative this summer with South Northamptonshire Council’s SPLAT workshops.

Activities include colourful felting with sheep’s wool in Denton, Greens Norton or Towcester; creating “funky frames” using modroc at Blakesley; and children of eight years and above can learn to make beaded jewellery at the Bead Scene Studio near Potterspury.

For those who prefer digital arts, Animation Station has a terrific range of activities until 16 August, from traditional animation to music mixing, scratch games and Photoshop.
