The event, Brackley Youth Pod Village, has been organised by Streetvibe and is a service that connects with teenagers.
The Daventry District and South Northamptonshire Community Safety Partnership has funded the evening in a bid to network with young people living in the Brackley area.
Youth Pod Villages are outdoor events that offer positive activities for those aged between 13 and 19 years and provide a safe, alcohol and drug-free environment. The event which is free to attend provides an opportunity for youngsters to take part in a number of activities including sport, skate boarding, dance and musical activities as well as getting advice on issues which matter to them. The event will be staffed by qualified youth workers.
Cllr Rosie Herring, South Northamptonshire Council’s portfolio holder for community wellbeing and vice chair of Daventry District and South Northamptonshire Community Safety Partnership, said: “This is a great opportunity for young people in Brackley to be part of something really positive and that has been specifically organised with their needs in mind.
“I would encourage youngsters to go along and get involved in the event and see what it has to offer them, as well as having a really fun time.”
