Support and Advice

Job Centre Plus

Both Northampton Job Centre Plus and Banbury Job Centre Plus provide support and advice on current vacancies at the Job Club sessions.

Money Advice Service

If you live in the South Northamptonshire District, free debt and welfare benefits advice is available through the Money Advice Service provided by the Council.

Advice and support that might be particularly useful for people on low or fixed incomes, including how non bank account holders can use basic bank accounts to save money on home energy and other essentials, details on how to get the best energy prices, the availability of Credit Union accounts and how these can save borrowers hundreds of pounds a year. Also free non-debt advice on any kind of financial matter can be provided.

National Apprenticeship Service National information and advice service for jobseekers and employers wishing to take up or provide an apprenticeship.
NCC Library Services Information and advice for Jobseekers through the Change Zones initiative and the e-library Business and Finance resources.
National Careers Service The National Careers Service provides information, advice and guidance on learning, training and work opportunities. The service offers confidential and impartial advice. This is supported by qualified careers advisers.
