Recruitment fair in Brackley to fill around 100 vacancies
The Job Club Recruitment Fair will take place from 1.30pm - 4pm, following on from next week’s Job Club session at the town hall. The Job Club team will also be on hand to help match jobseekers with vacancies, maximising their chances of securing a role.
Brackley’s Job Club is operated by South Northamptonshire Council and it’s gearing up to help jobseekers looking to find work locally.
The club provides free and confidential support and advice from partner organisations as well as a wide range of job opportunities, with some employers advertising exclusively through the Job Club itself. Since the council started putting on the Job Clubs over 1,100 visits have been made to the regular sessions and 65 people have been supported back to work.
Cllr Rupert Fordham, South Northamptonshire’s portfolio holder for community regeneration, said: “The council is committed to the Job Club and it's proved to be the right decision. The Job Club continues to play a positive role in keeping unemployment down and helping jobseekers into work.”
