Our carbon footprint

We started calculating our carbon footprint in 2008/2009. Our first footprint was recalculated to 2,840 tonnes. We call this the baseline and it allows us to check whether the efficiency measures we are putting in place are helping to reduce emissions and make our carbon footprint smaller. If we can do this we should be able to save money on gas, electricity, petrol and diesel.

In 2014 DECC issued new guidelines which meant that all previous emission statements had to be recalculated. The good news is that we have achieved a 22.74% reduction on our baseline.
