Abandoned vehicles

Just call E.L.V.I.S.!

ELVIS is the End of Life Vehicle Impound Scheme run by Northamptonshire County Council. We all hate seeing abandoned rusting, old and dangerous cars cluttering up the place.

So, if you see one report it to ELVIS on 08456 121 999 or report it online.

It is against the law just to dump a car or van, but ELVIS can help you get rid of your vehicle as long as you have got the official log book and keys.

To find out more:

  • download the leaflet on ELVIS (pdf) or
  • visit the ELVIS pages of the County Council's website.
