In the very heart of England, in beautiful, unspoilt countryside, South Northamptonshire provides an ideal opportunity to unwind and explore the local attractions as well as nearby national destinations such as Warwick, Stratford and Oxford....
South Northamptonshire is everyone's idea of traditional countryside, with thatched cottages, old stone built pubs with oak beams and open fires in winter. Cricket is still played on the village green in Evenley every summer.

There are two former Royal deer forests, Whittlewood and Salcey, much smaller now than when their valuable oak trees were used to make English ships - the famous Hearts of Oak.
But there are still many walks and nature trails, where you can discover quiet, unspoilt countryside without meeting a soul. The many by-roads, bridle ways and footpaths make it ideal for walking and cycling and the bluebell fields simply take your breath away.
While some people like the challenge of moor and mountain, South Northamptonshire has an almost cosy atmosphere, with hedged fields, grazing sheep and cattle, woods and attractive stone built villages.
On most horizons, the church spire or tower signifies a village, where you can find a traditional pub with good beer, at least a sandwich and possibly a hot meal.
