By road:
The area is accessible from junctions 15, 15a and 16 of the M1 and from junctions 10 and 11 of the M40.
The A43 and A5 criss-cross the region, providing good links to and from Milton Keynes, Coventry, Oxford and beyond.
Drive times to the area are approximately 30 to 45 minutes (Bletchley, the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford); one hour (London and Birmingham) and two to three hours (Bristol, Cambridge, Manchester, Nottingham and Southampton).
By rail:
The Birmingham to London Euston line stops at Northampton and Milton Keynes.
The Chiltern line runs between London Marylebone and Birmingham, with stations at Bicester, King’s Sutton (also Silver Link) and Banbury.
Rail journey times to London and Birmingham are from approximately 45 minutes.
By air:
Five international airports are within an hour to an hour and a half’s drive: Birmingham, Coventry, Luton, Nottingham East Midlands and London Heathrow.
