Organising an event over Christmas?

We would like to inform anyone organising a function over the festive period to submit their Temporary Event Notice.

TENs must be submitted at least 10 days before the event and this year’s Christmas and New Year deadlines are:

Thursday 9 December for Christmas Eve;
Friday 10 December for Christmas or Boxing Day; and
Tuesday 14 December for New Years Eve.

A TEN is a legal requirement that covers up to 499 people for maximum of 96 hours. It is needed at any event where alcohol is sold; there are indoor sporting events; music is played; films; plays; or dancing or entertainment (excluding carol singing) is provided.
