SPORT ENGLAND - The latest from the pitch

Inspired Facilities will be launched on 18th July 2011 - a key part of the Places People Play programme which will deliver a mass participation sporting legacy from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.  The Inspired facilities programme will focus on upgrading and modernising up to 1,000 community sports clubs with small capital grants to refurbish and improve the places where people play sport, improving their sporting experience and encouraging more people to get involved.

They are also running workshops where you can learn more about the programme.

OTHER FUNDING NEWS

The Big Lottery

The Big Lottery has a range of funds on offer to groups.

Awards for All offers grants of between £300 and £10,000 for projects that improve communities and the lives of people within them.

The Reaching Communities Funding Programme offers grants of between £10,000 and £500,000 to help people and communities, who are most in need and can really make a difference.

HMRC

HMRC has annouced a new 2011/12 to 2014/15 funding programme for the Voluntary Sector which will allocate in the region of £2m a year over the next four years to the VCS.
